Steve Deakin

As a professional counsellor for the past 20 years specialising in the area of violence prevention, Steve has worked in schools, within the community and for nonprofit organisations, as a counsellor, facilitator and trainer.

Steve’s passion is motivating young people to realise their potential. He is an involved father of three, drawing on much of his own life experience to assist the many and varied clients who come to ChangeWorks.

Anihera Tahu-Hepworth ~ (Dip. Counselling)

Anihera has worked with ChangeWorks for the past 6 years as a Facilitator of ChangeWorks Behavioural Change programmes in schools.

Two years ago Anihera joined us as a Counsellor to also work individually with children, teenagers and adults.

Anihera is Maori of Ngati Porou and Tuhoe descent and also whakapapa’s back to England and Scotland.
